Review:The Meatless Monday Family Cookbook
The Meatless Monday Family Cookbook starts off with a little backstory written by the founder of the global Meatless Monday Movement, Sid Lerner, which makes quite a bit of sense. Mondays are definitely days that everyone seems to be in reboot mode. It is a perfect day for trying a healthy alternative to the typical meat and potatoes dinner.

If you are looking for some healthy eating options, this is one cookbook to look for. The ingredients are simple and the book has a very easy to follow format. Definitely one book that will help to kick off a new year of healthy eating habits!
Yum! I’ve been a vegetarian for 16 years and I am always on the lookout for new recipes. The biggest problem with vegetarian cook books is that they usually include impossible to find ingredients! I am glad you said this one has more simple ingredients and is easy to follow. I will check this out!
I can imagine that finding some ingredients for a specialty dish would prove difficult. I hope that you find this book useful!
This would be a wonderful book to have when our kids come to visit.
There seem to be quite few kid-friendly ideas in this book!
We have soup and grilled cheese a couple of times a month, but the husband usually wants something more substantial. I wonder if he’d be satisfied with some of the heartier recipes in this cookbook.

I have one of those meat loving husbands as well. I find that the higher protein options (chickpeas and beans) that don’t contain meat seem to satisfy him.
I love meat but the book sounds good
It is a nice alternative, for sure!
I am not much of a meat eater so I know I would like this book. I am always looking for new ideas.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this one if you give it a try!
This book looks great! I’m interested in starting a Meatless Monday dinner at my house! Now to get my husband on board… 😉

Sounds like a good cookbook, especially for someone who wants to stray away from eating too much meat!
We have “Meatless Monday” in my house so this is perfect, thanks for sharing 🙂
Brilliant! It’s time to educate our children about their diet.
this sounds like a fun cook book thanks for sharing. growing up mom would make Tuesday and Thursday meatless dinners. of course there were seven of us, but she wanted us all to learn to eat more than beef and port and chicken (we lived on a farm and had our own meat)
