The Center of the Universe by Ria Voros is an intriguing book. It has been a while since the author has had a new YA novel. I read her White Pine nominated title, The Opposite of Geek a few years ago and it had a really unique format and wonderful writing. The Beholder by Anna Bright
The Beholder by Anna Bright is a new fantasy series that sounds like it has an incredible setting and concept. Retellings are my favourite kind of reads. The fact that this book is a mash-up of The Odyssey and Cinderella has me jumping with excitement. How cool does that sound? The cover is also all sorts of amazing as well.
