Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas
Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas is filled with action and suspense, and the main character is surprisingly easy to root for, despite her being a villain. The dual narration also provides some drama. I really enjoyed this story, and I am excited for the series to continue. I have been following along with the DC Icons series since the first book was released, and I was so excited to see that Catwoman: Soulstealer written by Sarah J. Mass also follows a villain. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer is a series that is so original with its take on fairytales in space, and I loved each of the main characters. The story also has a great ending, leaving it among my favourite books. If you have yet to read this YA book series and are a fan of fairytales, badassery, and space, I would definitely recommend it! Review: Sea Witch by Sarah Henning
Sea Witch by Sarah Henning is definitely a book to add to your TBR this summer. I’m not normally a big fan of mermaids, but when I heard that there was a book about Ursula’s origin story, I had to check it out. Sea Witch did not disappoint me, and I enjoyed the main character’s rise to evil. There is also some beautiful writing in this book, and I would definitely recommend it. Continue reading

Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart is the kind of book that draws you in the second you pick it up. The plot is filled with intrigue and feminism, and the main characters are equally enjoyable. The world is also clearly developed, and it is surprisingly easy to picture as our own reality. I definitely enjoyed this one, and I am eager to get my hands on a sequel! Continue reading
