Baking for the Holidays: 50+ Treats for a Festive Season

If you are looking for a recipe book that has classic holiday baked goods and cozy winter recipes, then this is one to try. It has a simple and beautiful layout, as well as some personal stories that Kieffer shares with each recipe. Fans of her blog and her other cookbooks will enjoy this glimpse into the baker’s life.

While the recipes are explained in simple terms, some of them are a bit more labour intensive than others. However, there is a good mix between quick and time consuming recipes. That being said, novice bakers might have difficulty with some of the recipes in the book.

I do this every year! I My special bake for the holidays is my great grandmother’s cider pie , it’s like a pecan pie only it tastes like apples.

  2. Piroska says:

Baking For the Holidays sounds like a wonderful cookbook. Even though I have my family favourite recipes that I do each year, it’s nice to add a couple of new ones.
