The Darkest Star by Jennifer L. Armentrout is a new science fiction series that sounds absolutely amazing. I have really enjoyed Armentrout’s other novels, and I have high hopes for this series. Admittedly, I have yet to read the Lux series, but it has been on my TBR since the beginning of time. I think that the mix of old and new characters sounds really interesting and that cover is gorgeous!

I was such a fangirl for the Lux series so I’m beyond thrilled to read this book about Luc. I loved him before and I’ve always wanted to find out more about him. He’s such an interesting character!
I really need to know more about this Luc! He sounds perfect! 🙂
I never read the Lux series but I’ve seen a few people mention how much they want this one. The cover sure is pretty!
I really love that cover, too! 🙂
I haven’t read the Lux series either, but this sounds like a stand alone so I’m definitely going to try it! Thanks for sharing:-)

Yes. I like that it doesn’t seem to need prior knowledge of the other series to jump right in. 🙂
Great pick! I’m really excited for this one too. 🙂

I haven’t read all of JLA’s stories, but i have thoroughly enjoyed the ones that I have read. So I am super excited about this one! It sounds like my kind of JLA!
This is a gorgeous cover. The book sounds interesting as well, but if there are other books in this series, I should probably start there first.

I think that I would want to start with the first series, but I don’t think that it is necessary. 🙂
I haven’t finished the lux series yet but I’m still excited for this spin off. I really need to get back to this series.
