Room Love by Heather Wutschke
I have recently begun to organize my bookshelves and I was really inspired by the washi tape embellishment idea in Room Love. What is so great about washi tape is its versatility and the ability to remove it easily if needed. I never considered using it in my decorating before, and it is such a fun idea!
❀ Lots of Step-by-Step Directions
Room Love by Heather Wutschke has such a pretty layout and lots of pictures with step-by-step directions that can be followed with ease. It is one that will appeal to pre-teens that are wanting to jazz up their space a little bit without having to purchase expensive supplies. It is a definite gift for the tween DIYers on your list!
This sounds like a really fun book to check out – my daughter is turning 8 and will probably want to start redoing her room soon, so I might check this out to give her some ideas. I’m not really one for DIY kind of things or reorganizing, so I think this would be quite helpful! Great review and thanks for putting this one on my radar!
I think that your daughter will really enjoy it! There may be a few things that you could do together, like the furniture painting ideas. 🙂
This looks fun! I would definitely check it out! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Oh I love that washi tape idea – washi tape is fantastic!!!
Right?! I love it, too! 🙂
I need to get this for my niece so she can awesome up her dorm room! Very cool idea with the tape on the shelves. Makes them POP!
Thanks! I think it is so much fun, and if I get tired of it, I can just peel it right off. 😉
Oooh, I’m curious how she used washi tape in her ideas! We just painted my daughter’s room so she’s ready to decorate!

Some good ideas, could use this book.
Sounds good; love these books they’re great for finding new decorating ideas. Thanks for the review!
thank you for your review. right now my husband and I share a bedroom that our son had for both of our hobbies. it is a bit cramped right now, but we make it work. when he retires in a year he will be transforming his home office into his hobby room. meaning I will get to spread out a little and make this room mine.
