P.S. I Like You by Kasie West is my first Kasie West novel and since I enjoyed it so much, I’m going to have to read some more! This book is all about a mystery pen pal. It also contains a main character who is awkward and relatable. I loved reading about her big family as well.

Review: P.S. I Like You by Kasie West
This book is such a cute read for the summer. This book is about a girl who ends up with a mystery pen pal after writing down some lyrics on her desk in Chemistry. I loved being able to read each of the notes exchanged between Lily and the mystery boy. The suspense leading up to the big reveal was also really well done and super enjoyable to read.
❀ Relatable Main Character
The main character in P.S. I Like You is so relatable. Lily is awkward and has a great sense of humour which I really appreciated. What I found interesting about her is the fact that she is a songwriter and interested in a songwriting competition. I love characters with a story and a personality, and Lily is definitely one of them.
❀ Big Family Theme
One of my favourite things about P.S. I Like You is how Lily’s family is so big! She has two younger brother and an older sister who play a signifiant part in the story. I enjoyed how realistic this family was and how it was clear that Lily just wanted some peace and quiet. Family is one of my favourite things to read about and I was so happy to see one in this book.
❀ A Cute Summer Read
P.S. I Like You by Kasie West is a cute summer read about two pen pals in science class. The main character is so relatable and her family is written so realistically. I would definitely recommend this contemporary book for anyone looking for a quick read.

I can appreciate an author who takes the take to build a family for their character, or members of their family and not make them caricatures. That doesn’t happen often enough methinks
I LOVE this book so much!! Great review!
This sounds like the cutest summertime story. I love the pen pal on a desk story line. I really need to try this one out!
