Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo is a fantastic new fall series that is perfect for fans Six of Crows. Isn’t that cover super cool? I actually get a Taylor Swift reputation vibe from it. The concept sounds fantastic and I can’t wait to find out what Bardugo has come up with for us next.
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

Author: Leigh Bardugo
Publisher: Flatiron Books
Publication Date: October 8, 2019

Galaxy “Alex” Stern is the most unlikely member of Yale’s freshman class. Raised in the Los Angeles hinterlands by a hippie mom, Alex dropped out of school early and into a world of shady drug dealer boyfriends, dead-end jobs, and much, much worse. By age twenty, in fact, she is the sole survivor of a horrific, unsolved multiple homicide. Some might say she’s thrown her life away. But at her hospital bed, Alex is offered a second chance: to attend one of the world’s most elite universities on a full ride. What’s the catch, and why her?
Still searching for answers to this herself, Alex arrives in New Haven tasked by her mysterious benefactors with monitoring the activities of Yale’s secret societies. These eight windowless “tombs” are well-known to be haunts of the future rich and powerful, from high-ranking politicos to Wall Street and Hollywood’s biggest players. But their occult activities are revealed to be more sinister and more extraordinary than any paranoid imagination might conceive.

Book Quotes: Ninth House by Legh Bardugo
I want to survive this world that keeps trying to destroy me.
All you children playing with fire, looking surprised when the house burns down.
There were always excuses for why girls died.
I’m actually not a huge fan of the cover, personally. Maybe because I just don’t like snakes… lol The synopsis sounds amazing though! I’d read anything by Leigh. ♥

So I like the name Galaxy so why shorten it? Oh well, that alone won’t stop me from giving this a go. However, it will have to be on Kindle as snakes REALLY freak me out!
Ha! Good idea!! 🙂
I can’t wait to read that one! I only read Six of Crows by the author, but I loved that duology and I am so looking forward to this one now 🙂
I really loved Six of Crows, too! 🙂

I do like the cover, and the book sounds great too. 🙂
The cover screams JAIME, and I really like the premise of this. Infiltrating the societies of a MAJOR school with rich people and incredibly intelligent people. I am definitely going to read this series. I haven’t been a fan of Leigh’s other works, but this sounds like it may be right up my alley!
Yay!! I hope that you love it! 🙂
Oooh, sounds creepy!
