Wishlist Wednesday: The Other Side of the Sky

Wishlist Wednesday: The Other Side of the Sky

Welcome to this week’s edition of Wishlist Wednesday! Today I am featuring The Other Side of the Sky by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner. Sci-fi novels seem like the perfect escape read right now and this one has me excited.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about and have yet to read. It is a spin-off of the original meme, Waiting on Wednesday, that was formerly hosted by Breaking the Spine.

THIS WEEK’S WOW: The Other Side of the Sky

The Other Side of the SkyTitle: The Other Side of the Sky
Author: Amie Kaufman, Megan Spooner
Publisher: HarperTeen
Publication Date: September 8, 2020

Summary (from Goodreads):

Prince North’s home is in the sky, in a gleaming city held aloft by intricate engines powered by technology. Nimh is the living goddess of her people on the surface, responsible for providing answers, direction—hope.

Linked by a terrifying prophecy and caught between duty and fate, they must choose between saving their people or succumbing to the bond that is forbidden between them.

Magnetic and gorgeously thematic, New York Times bestselling author duo Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner have crafted a gripping tale of magic and logic, fate and choice, and an impossible decision between an empty future and a deadly love. Perfect for fans of Claudia Gray and Laini Taylor.

I am in love with so much about this new series so far! That cover is absolutely amazing and the fact that it is a Miyazaki inspired fantasy world has me so intrigued. So much anticipation for this one!
