Sam & Ilsa’s Last Hurrah by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan is a book that I am highly anticipating. I have usually enjoyed books written by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. Some have been misses for me, but I really enjoyed Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares quite a bit. It sounds as though this book is written in the same tradition of that series, so I am here for it. I have a feeling that there is going to be lots of humour to this story as the night unfolds.
THIS WEEK’S BOOK: Sam & Ilsa’s Last Hurrah

Author: David Levithan, Rachel Cohn
Publisher: Knopf Books for Young Readers
Publication Date: April 10, 2018

The New York Times Bestselling duo behind Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist and The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily return with twins out to throw the party of a lifetime—or at least the best party of high school!
Siblings Sam and Ilsa Kehlmann have spent most of their high school years throwing parties for their friends—and now they’ve prepared their final blowout, just before graduation.
The rules are simple: each twin gets to invite three guests, and the other twin doesn’t know who’s coming until the partiers show up at the door. With Sam and Ilsa, the sibling revelry is always tempered with a large dose of sibling rivalry, and tonight is no exception.
One night. One apartment. Eight people. What could possibly go wrong? Oh, we all know the answer is plenty. But plenty also goes right, as well…in rather surprising ways.

Book Quotes: Sam & Ilsa’s Last Hurrah
I’ve tried breaking things to feel better – and found that it only feels better while things are breaking, not the next moment, when they’re broken. It’s a release that leads to nowhere
t’s like a fairy tale, and we’re the shadows who are turning back into boys.
Sounds like a good book. I hope it is one that you enjoy and not one that wasn’t as good. I love a book that can make me laugh.
