Review: Plant Lady Embroidery by Applemints

As many of us are finding ourselves indoors and at home more often than usual at present, crafting is one way to cure boredom! I have alway been interested in learning how to embroider and jumped at this opportunity to review Plant Lady Embroidery.

❀ Many Patterns to Choose From

The layout of this craft book is really interesting. There are quite a few tips and basic information at the beginning to get you started. I loved the fact that there are so many patterns to choose from. I did have an ebook, so copying the patterns was a bit difficult, but still doable.

The images are plentiful and very inspiring throughout the book. However, the instructions for the more difficult patterns are sometimes a bit unclear. This is easily solved by a quick search on YouTube, though.

❀ Easy and Cost Efficient Hobby

If you are looking for a new activity to try that is both easy and cost efficient, Plant Lady Embroidery by Applemints is something to try.

Your embroidery looks great! My mother loved to embroider and I learned how when I was younger so it’s been a while. I wish I could do it now as it would be a wonderful stress relief but it’s hard with my hand the way it is.

Ohhhh this is so nice!!! I often would see books similar to this (but probably not as nice) at our local Barnes & Noble, but nobody has been in there in months. I’d love to have this!

Love the small tree embroidery. I’ve just begun embroidering an old silk saree with leaf patterns..was looking for some more ideas . Thanks.
