Review: To RIght The Wrongs by Sheryl Scarborough
To Right the Wrongs by Sheryl Scarborough is just as action-packed as To Catch a Killer, as twisty as the first, and Erin is still the same clever sleuth. The use of forensics in this series really adds originality, and I would definitely recommend it to those with an interest in this field.
❀ Entertaining Series
This series is so entertaining to read! In this latest instalment, Erin and her friends tackle the case of Journey’s father who is accused of murder. At the same time, the girls are setting up for a summer forensics camp. In this book, there are two cases in one, but I don’t want to say too much about the second for fear of spoilers. However, I will say that the subplots are interesting and bring more dimension to the story. As is typical with sequels, I did enjoy the first book more, but this story is still fast-paced and unexpected.
❀ Spunky Main Character
Erin is just as spunky as always in To Right the Wrongs. She follows her heart and is also insanely inventive. I love how Erin is clever but also naïve. Her mistakes and desire to meddle at the wrong times make her realistic and more complex. Overall, Erin’s voice is captivating, and she is the perfect narrator for these thrillers.
❀ Original Stories
What I love the most about this series is how original the stories are. The characters use actual forensic techniques and know how to find and analyze evidence. It makes the story way more interesting than reading about a group of girls who just run around town and hope for a lead. The characters have access to a forensic lab and the wisdom of Erin’s uncle to legitimately solve a case. Their findings backed up with proof make the idea of professionals accepting the conclusions reached by teenagers more believable than any other thriller.
❀ A Fast-Paced Thriller
To Right the Wrongs by Sheryl Scarborough is a fast-paced thriller with many layers. I loved the main character and her realistic personality and the use of forensics to solve the cases. This is among my favourite thriller series, and I would definitely recommend it to those with an interest in forensics and crime.

This sounds really good. I do like that it’s a bit different using Forensics in the book. I would like to know how that works out. I like that there is a sub-plot also. Makes you think. Great review! I would start with the first tho just so I didn’t miss anything.

I haven’t really heard much about the first book, but I do love stories about teens detecting and such. These sound like very entertaining reads. I am going to have to check it out this weekend.
