St. Patrick’s Day Book Tag: Kiss Me I’m Irish
Welcome to my St. Patrick’s Day book tag feature! As it is Saint Patrick’s Day, I figured that this was the perfect bookish festive post!
Green: a book with a green cover.
The Maze Runner has an interesting green cover. I especially love this cover because it’s so mysterious and eerie.
Blarney- a book that deceived you into either liking it or was overhyped and you ended up disliking it.
Fallen by Lauren Kate had a lot of hype, but I didn’t really enjoy it. I had a really hard time getting into it and eventually just gave up on it.
Brogue- (dialect) a book where one of the characters has an accent.
Into the Dim has a couple of Scottish characters which was really interesting to read! I loved the Scottish slang in the book.
Leprechaun-a book you enjoyed when you were a little person.
Yes, I know, classic. Honestly, I really enjoyed this book when I was younger and remember wishing that I could attend Hogwarts. I’m sure many other people did the same!
Pot of Gold-a book that cost you a lot or is of great value to you.
My copy of If I Stay signed by Gayle Forman and Jamie Blackley (the actor who plays Adam in the movie) is very special to me. The signing was such an amazing experience and looking at this book just reminds me of that.
Four-leaf clover or shamrock-four leaves=more than one book. Pick your current or old favorite series.
I absolutely love the Throne of Glass series! The way the books are written is just so phenomenal, and the series is so creative. I am super excited for the next book to come out!
Magic-a book that you found magical or a book where you enjoyed a magic element that was found in the storyline.
I’m going to have to go with Spellcaster by Claudia Gray for this one. The main character is a witch, and there are plenty of spells cast in this book.
Kiss-Your current favorite book pairing or your all time favorite book pairing.
My favourite literary couple remains Four and Tris from Divergent. Their romance is so adorable!
Luck-a book on your shelf that you will luckily get to…someday.
I have honestly had Six of Crows on my shelf for months now. It’s not that I don’t want to read it, because I am dying to start it, but I just don’t have the time to do so!
Jig-a book that if you don’t currently own but if could get a hold of it-it would make you dance with joy. (Can be a book that isn’t released yet or a book you’d really like to own)
I am super excited for The Crown, the final book in The Selection series! I love these books so much, and though I don’t want the series to end, I need to know what happens next!
Rainbow-That’s you! Lead other bloggers to this “pot of gold” tag.
I tag anyone who is interested to do this tag. It is lots of fun and perfect for today!
I love your answers! The cover of The Maze Runner is what intrigued me at first, about that book, too, I love it. And yay for The Crown! That series is such a guilty pleasure of mine, I can’t wait to know how it ends, especially after THAT last ending… how can they leave us like that! :O
The characters in The great Hunt have awesome accents! I love when characters have accents, I feel like it adds so much to the story!
I have to get on that one! It sounds incredible! 🙂
Ooo! You need to pick up Six of Crows. So good! 🙂 It was fun reading this tag.
I know, right?! Soon!!! 🙂
This was such a fun tag! Ahh I hope you find the time to read Six of Crows soon 🙂 It was one of my top favourites last year!
OMG! You must read Six Of Crows ASAP! 😀
HAPPY ST. PATRICK’ DAY . Enjoy the day and have fun!
Marilyn
Great post! You should definitely read Six of Crows soon! It’s pretty awesome 😉
Yay, Harry!
I am hearing the beating of the drums! I will! I promise! <3
I’ve been hearing a LOT about Into the Dim–hopefully you enjoyed it?
I “stole” this from you and did it on my own blog! I tagged you, as well, at the top for credit.
I did enjoy Into the Dim! I am so happy that you chose to do the tag! <3
I love these Tag posts, and I always say that I am going to do one. But I think it is more fun to read other peoples!
I like them, too! Sometimes I do them when I need a break from the regular blog posts! <3
This is a cute tag, and perfect for St Patrick’s Day! I love The Maze Runner too, and I struggled with Fallen as well – though I didn’t hate it as much as everyone else seems to. I have to reread it so I can finish the series one of these days. And yes, HP was a childhood obsession of mine too… still is.
This is such a cute tag and the name is adorable as well. I haven’t read many of these books at all, probably because most of these are series and I don’t read many of those. Nonetheless a fun post!
Great post!! I have read Harry Potter and loved it!!! Not read any of the others!! Interesting thank you!
Interesting post! I won The Maze Runner in a giveaway a while back but haven’t gotten to it yet. I loved the film adaptation though(The Scorch Trials — not so much). I really need to read the Harry Potter series. Both hubby and my daughter have read it. We watched the film adaptations as she finished each book. I am dying to read The Selection series. The premise is so intriguing and the covers are gorgeous.
This is a great post, The Maze Runner is excellent and of course I also love Harry Potter, as do my kids!
I love this book tag! A lot of great picks up there *thumbs up*
Some of these books intrigue me. I’m going to add them to my wish list
