Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo is a book that I am excited to share with you. I really enjoyed the Six of Crows duology, and I loved the first book in The Grisha trilogy so much.

The Darkling has emerged from the Shadow Fold with a terrifying new power and a dangerous plan that will test the very boundaries of the natural world. With the help of a notorious privateer, Alina returns to the country she abandoned, determined to fight the forces gathering against Ravka. Book Quotes: Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
BOOK BEGINNING
The boy and the girl had once dreamed of ships, long ago, before they’d ever seen the True Sea. They were the vessels of stories, magic ships with masts hewn from sweet cedar and sails spun by maidens from thread of pure gold.
FRIDAY 56
The week wore on, and on the sixth day, Genya woke me early. As I gathered my wits, I realized it was barley dawn. Fear sliced through me.
One of these days I’ll need to read 2 & 3 in this series…

This is one of those series that, on paper, I should have LOVED. But for whatever reason, I just did not like it at all. And it stinks, because from other peoples perspectives, it sounds AWESOME. Oh well, I reckon not all of them will work for everyone. Glad you are enjoying the series!
I had the same feeling when I started reading this one last time. I pushed through it and ended up enjoying it. Not all books are for everyone and I totally get it. 😉
I loved this book! This is such a great trilogy. I hope you love it.
This is one of my favorite series and I really hope you love it as much as I did! Happy reading! 🙂

I hope you enjoy this series the second time around. I actually just started the third book this weekend. I had made it through the first two and enjoyed them, but then got distracted and forgot to continue.
