Mera: Tidebreaker by Danielle Paige
Mera: Tidebreaker by Danielle Paige is a YA graphic novel, which I don’t typically read, but I am loving the concept. The fact that it is all about the origins of Mera and Aquaman has really got me excited to give it a try. I have always loved Danielle Paige’s writing. She just seems to be able to perfect a great retelling, and her Dorothy Must Die series is one of my all-time favourites. I love the the fact this book explores Atlantis and I can’t wait to see what Paige has come up with. Continue reading

The Art of French Kissing by Brianna R. Shrum is a fantastic romantic contemporary. I cannot even begin to tell you how long I have been waiting for a book about a cooking competition. Honestly, this one is exactly what I wanted with a high-stakes competition, a rivalry, and some mouth-watering descriptions of food. I wasn’t so sure about the main character at first, but she really turned around. This story is original and cute, and I definitely enjoyed it. Continue reading
