From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon is a book that I had high hopes for, since When Dimple Met Rishi is one of my favourite reads. It is safe to say that I was not disappointed, and I really enjoyed this story all about filmmaking. Twinkle is awkward and relatable, and the letters make for a unique format. Fans of rom-coms will no doubt love Menon’s latest novel. Continue reading
Pippa Greene by Chantel Guertin is an intriguing series about photography. This series is all about discovering who you truly are, and the main character is so relatable. I especially enjoyed Golden Hour, since Pippa’s transformation is evident. I would definitely recommend this series, and each of the books are short and sweet. Continue reading
Prince Charming by Rachel Hawkins is a book about an American girl who ends up following her sister to Scotland after becoming royalty. The main character is snarky and the side characters make the story so much fun. This first book in the Royals series is a light read perfect for anyone looking for a fluffy contemporary. Summer Constellations by Alisha Sevigny tells the story of a headstrong girl fighting to save her family’s campsite while also falling for its potential buyer’s son. I always love summery reads, but I don’t think I’ve ever read a book in which the main character owns a campsite. This book is light yet serious, and it contains a strong bond between siblings bound to make you smile. Continue reading
