Wonder Woman: Tempest Tossed by Laurie Halse Anderson sounds like an incrdible new Graphic novel in the DC series. I am really intrigued by the concept of a Wonder Woman origin story. Laurie Halse Anderson is an author known for her hard-hitting and powerful YA novels and I imagine that this one is no exception. This book sounds like a fantastic book full of female empowerment. Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco is a new YA fantasy series that is all about witches. I still have to read a couple of more books in the Stalking Jack the Ripper series, but it won’t stop me from adding this one to my TBR. The Con Code by Shana Silver sounds like an intriguing YA heist story. I haven’t read the author’s previous book, but it sounds as if this one might be fast-paced and full of excitement. The comparisons to Ally Carter’s Heist Society have me really excited. I can’t wait to find out how this story ends. Continue reading
Legendborn by Tracy Deonn is an Arthurian legend story that sounds so exciting! There are so many intriguing aspects about this fantasy book. Books about secrets and magic are ones that I really enjoy and I have a feeling that this book is going to be epic. Continue reading
More Than Just a Pretty Face by Syed M. Masood is a YA debut that sounds like a perfect rom-com. There are so many aspects about this book that I am excited for. Danyal sounds like a character that is easy to relate to and I think it will be fun to read about his quest for love. It seems as though it is going to have lots of humour as well.
