Sunny Song Will Never Be Famous by Suzanne Park intrigued me because of its Simple Life vibes. This one contains just as much mayhem as I was expecting as it follows an influencer who spends the summer unplugged at a farm. The plot is unique, and the main character is perfectly sarcastic. The Divines by Ellie Eaton is a coming of age story that is shocking and seductive. The book has a dual timeline and a flawed, dislikable main character that is revisiting her teen years at an elite boarding school for girls. The Sun is Also a Star is a book to movie adaptation that could have been so much more. The novel is an incredible love story that focuses on destiny. However. the screenplay just seems to have strayed so far from the book that it is incredibly boring to watch. With an incredible cast and fantastic cinematography, this is a disappointing film.
