Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon is the ballroom dance book I have been waiting for. With descriptions of dance and a little magical realism, this is a unique read with a lot of heart. The main character is also well-developed, and the philosophical questions throughout the story make for a thought-provoking read. Fans of Nicola Yoon will not be disappointed with this latest work. The Sun is Also a Star is a book to movie adaptation that could have been so much more. The novel is an incredible love story that focuses on destiny. However. the screenplay just seems to have strayed so far from the book that it is incredibly boring to watch. With an incredible cast and fantastic cinematography, this is a disappointing film. The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon is one of the few books that I was able to develop an attachment to. This book is set over one day and really focuses on destiny. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon is one of the best books I’ve read this year, and the only book I’ve read with a book blogging character. It has such an original concept and one of my favourite main characters at the moment. Included, are little sketches that Madeline draws that I adored and I’m sure every reader will as well.
