We Walked the Sky 
29 Dates by Melissa de la Cruz is an intriguing book with Korean culture and a super cute story. It tells the story of a girl who goes on dates set up by a matchmaker, and I loved reading about each of her 29 dates. My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life by Rachel Cohn is an instant must-read for fans of boarding school books. The book is both entertaining and emotional, and the main character is likeable. The Enchanted Sonata by Heather Dixon Wallwork is a perfect combination of The Nutcracker and The Pied Piper, two of my favourite stories. This book is fast-paced, and it contains a cast of characters who are each well developed. I especially enjoyed the writing style and descriptions of music. I would definitely recommend this book for the holiday season, even if you are unfamiliar with the two original stories. Continue reading
