A Dress for the Wicked by Autumn Krause is a book that I had been highly anticipating for its blend of fashion and competition. The premise is intriguing, however this one let me down. Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim
Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim intrigued me from my first glimpse as I love Project Runway as well as anything Mulan inspired. I also didn’t enjoy the excessive use of random French words and the main character’s habit of referring to herself in the third person. I’m a bit disappointed with this one, but I would still recommend it to those with a strong interest in fashion. Continue reading
