Every Day is actually a re-read for me so that I can refresh my memory before the movie comes out. I chose to go with listening to the audio version, and I am really enjoying the narration. The concept of this series is so unique and the main character, A, is one that is so relatable, despite having to become a new person each and every day.

The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily is a really disappointing sequel to Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. This companion novel has far less adventure in and Lily’s character in The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily is so negative. The constant negativity doesn’t make the book seem Christmassy at all. You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour and David Levithan is a fast-paced, whirlwind of a book that has so much potential for greatness. The plot is very unique and really keeps readers on their toes. However, the alternating perspectives were very hard to follow and the characters were not as developed as I would have liked. Continue reading
Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn is the perfect winter read! It is such a unique book that is told over the course of about a week.
