Every Day is actually a re-read for me so that I can refresh my memory before the movie comes out. I chose to go with listening to the audio version, and I am really enjoying the narration. The concept of this series is so unique and the main character, A, is one that is so relatable, despite having to become a new person each and every day.

The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily is a really disappointing sequel to Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. This companion novel has far less adventure in and Lily’s character in The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily is so negative. The constant negativity doesn’t make the book seem Christmassy at all. Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist Rachel Cohn and David Levithan is a humorous book that is upbeat. The film, however, will leave you wondering what you even watched. The differences far outweigh the similarities in this book to movie adaptation. Continue reading
You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour and David Levithan is a fast-paced, whirlwind of a book that has so much potential for greatness. The plot is very unique and really keeps readers on their toes. However, the alternating perspectives were very hard to follow and the characters were not as developed as I would have liked. Continue reading
Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan is the perfect winter read! It is such a unique book that is told over the course of about a week. Alternating narrators made me enjoy this book even more! If you have yet to read this incredible book, I suggest you add it to your TBR lists. Continue reading
