The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares is a fun audiobook that I have just started on Audible that is a perfect contemporary for summer! When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon has got to be the best rom-com of the year. This story is about two teens arranged to be married who are also paired together in an app development competition. I loved the main character and her intelligence and the bits of culture laced throughout the book. This novel is a must-read this summer! Continue reading
The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon is one of the few books that I was able to develop an attachment to. This book is set over one day and really focuses on destiny. The two main characters are both so unique and even the side characters are developed so well. I would consider this a must-read! Continue reading
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo is a book about heists, and contains six amazing main characters that you can’t help but love. There are so many beautiful descriptions in the five star story and moments of humour that made it so entertaining. I would say that Six of Crows is one of the best books of the YA BookTok Books! I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson has to be one of the best books that I’ve read this year. There is so much jam-packed into this story, that there is a lot of processing that the reader has to do once the book is read. This novel is not only an addictive book about art, it is also phenomenally written. As well, there are two different narrators who offer constructing sides to the story and give real depth to its plot . All of the elements combine to make I’ll Give You the Sun so unputdownable!
