They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera is unlike anything I’ve read before. It is a story about living life to the fullest as it follows the last day of two new friends. Love on the Lifts by Rachel Hawthorne is the perfect book for the winter. It is filled with drama and humour. Also, the setting is dreamlike and the hot chocolate/book store is something that I would love to visit in real life. As I Descended by Robin Talley is totally mind-blowing. Since it is based off of Macbeth, I really should have seen everything coming, but Robin Talley still managed to surprise me. There is so much diversity in As I Descended, as well, and a main character who is in between a hero and a villain. This is definitely a must-read! Continue reading
The Siren, by Kiera Cass is so unique and contains a character that I’ve never seen before: the ocean. Kahlen, the main character is very brave and has so much determination.
