Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust is a YA fairy tale retelling that sounds really intriguing. I have yet to read the author’s first book, Girls Made of Snow and Glass, but I have heard great things. The fact that this is an original fantasy tale inspired by Persian mythology has me really excited. Also, that cover is really striking. Continue reading
Redemption Prep by Samuel Miller is a boarding school mystery that sounds perfect. I really enjoy a great mystery. This one gives me a Looking for Alaska vibe with its setting and the secrets the students hold. It shall be interesting to find out what happened to Emma. Continue reading
Strange Exit by Parker Peevyhouse is a YA sci-fi novel that sounds like it is going to be really intense. Parker Peevyhouse is one author that seems to create exciting sci-fi novels. The puzzles and twists that her books take are amazing. I am really looking forward to finding out how this one ends. Continue reading
We Are the Wildcats by Siobhan Vivian sounds like a YA sports book that is a wild ride. I have always enjoyed Siobhan Vivian’s writing. While this book sounds like it is going to have some fun and excitement, there is no doubt that there will be a deep message within the pages. I can’t wait to find out more! Continue reading
Harley in the Sky by Akemi Dawn Bowman is a circus book that has an interesting concept. I haven’t read any of this author’s books yet, but I always hear great things. The life of a circus performer always intrigues me, especially the trapeze artist. I have a feeling that there is going to be quite an emotional element to this one, so it will definitely have to be accompanied by a box of tissues! Continue reading
