The Beholder by Anna Bright is a new fantasy series that sounds like it has an incredible setting and concept. Retellings are my favourite kind of reads. The fact that this book is a mash-up of The Odyssey and Cinderella has me jumping with excitement. How cool does that sound? The cover is also all sorts of amazing as well.

The Tiger at Midnight by Swati Teerdhala is a new amazing YA fantasy trilogy that has me so excited. This YA magic book has a cover that is so striking and the concept is one that I haven’t heard of before. A story inspired by ancient Indian history and Hindu mythology is really intriguing. Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee by Jeff Zentner
Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee by Jeff Zentner has such a fantastic concept. I really loved Zentner’s Goodbye Days and I am really excited about this next novel because the main theme is friendship. Also, how cool is it that the main characters host a creature feature show? The story that the author has posted on Goodreads about the inspiration behind the novel is one of the coolest things I have come across in a while. Continue reading
