Tahira in Bloom by Farah Heron is a story about fashion and flowers that will leave readers with a smile. As a fan of both of these forms of design, I loved reading about Tahira’s summer in the flower capital of Ontario, and she is a strong and confident main character as well. Tessa & Weston: The Best Christmas Ever by Abbie Emmons is a charming Christmas story highlighting family and forgiveness. This one takes place shortly after the events of 100 Days of Sunlight, and I enjoyed getting back into the story with its lovable main characters. As a holiday romance, this one promises plenty of winter fun, and I loved all the festive activities throughout the book. This is the perfect book to curl up with over the holidays. Continue reading
How Not to Fall in Love by Jacqueline Firkins is a sweet story about a cynic and a hopeless romantic who teach each other how to date without getting attached. The main characters are best friends, and their friendship is so heartwarming to read. I had some issues with the love triangle, but I would still recommend this cozy story, especially to those who enjoy the friends to lovers trope. Continue reading
