Tweet Cute by Emma Lord is a charming story about a viral Twitter war between a large burger chain and a local family deli. With two smart and snarky main characters, the dialogue in this one is sure to bring a smile to any reader’s face. I especially enjoyed the inclusion of social media posts and the current but not cringey writing. Fans of You’ve Got Mail will not want to miss this heartwarming romcom. Continue reading

The Project by Courtney Summers
The Project by Courtney Summers is pretty far out of my comfort zone, but I always seem to love how Summers writes a thriller. Only Mostly Devastated, Sophie Gonzales
Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzales is a book I had been highly anticipating since it is being described as Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda meets Clueless with inspiration from Grease. Ultimately, this is a great book for those looking for a more meaningful contemporary that will also deliver laughter. Continue reading

The premise interested me, and I enjoyed the idea of an assassination gone wrong and some unlikely allies. Despite this, many elements of the story are quite flat, including the main character and the setting, and I was ultimately unimpressed. Continue reading
