Review: The Gilded Cage by Lynette Noni

The Gilded Cage by Lynette Noni is an addictive fantasy with secret scheming and shocking plot twists. Set soon after the events of The Prison Healer, this one is a little calmer and takes the time to explore the main character’s shifting allegiances. While this book is a sequel, it is just as thrilling as the first book, and I loved getting to explore the world outside the prison. This is a tense and original series that I can’t recommend enough. The Prison Healer by Lynette Noni

The Prison Healer by Lynette Noni is pretty far out of my comfort zone, however I was willing to give it a try because Noni’s Whisper series was so enjoyable. I am glad I decided to pick this one up, as its fast pacing and high stakes gripped me from page one. The main character is also dynamic, and the setting is described in vivid detail.
