Faking Reality by Sara Fujimura is a feel-good story following the daughter of HGTV stars. With an extravagant Sweet 16 party and a main character who is secretly in love with her best friend, this one contains plenty of drama. I especially enjoyed the portrayal of friendship, an aspect I’m sure will appeal to fans of the friends to lovers trope. Continue reading

Every Reason We Shouldn’t by Sara Fujimura seemed like the perfect book for me since I am a big fan of any story about skating. While I did enjoy this concept, I had many issues with the book, including the immature main character and the lack of discussion around the sensitive topics presented.
