Frankly in Love by David Yoon is a book I had been highly anticipating as I have seen it hyped up everywhere. Unfortunately, much of the book is stereotypical and underdeveloped, and there is no plot, just drama. I found that the main character is difficult to support, and many events are just tossed into the plot needlessly. Honestly, I am disappointed in this one. Continue reading

Harley in the Sky by Akemi Dawn Bowman
Harley in the Sky by Akemi Dawn Bowman is a circus book that has an interesting concept. I haven’t read any of this author’s books yet, but I always hear great things. Love, Life, and the List by Kasie West
Love, Life, and the List by Kasie West is a story about art and self-improvement. While the premise has promise, I was disappointed by the lack of descriptions of the main character’s art as well as the forced romance. On top of this, the main character’s sarcasm is taken too far and becomes both tired and almost disrespectful. I had such high hopes for this one, but unfortunately, it does not measure up to Kasie West’s other works. Continue reading
