Save the Date by Morgan Matson is one of my favourite books this year. This book did not let me down with its wedding shenanigans, likeable main character, and quirky family. I would definitely recommend this one, especially to those looking for a fun spring read.

The Summer of Broken Things by Margaret Peterson Haddix is an intriguing book set in beautiful Spain. It is a story about family secrets, and it contains two main characters who change drastically throughout the book. Saints and Misfits by S.K. Ali
Saints and Misfits by S.K. Ali is a feminist book about a Muslim teen struggling with identity. While I enjoyed the concept and the main character, I found the book’s pacing to be a bit slow. This is an important read, however, and one of very few Muslim YA books that I have seen. Continue reading
