The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily is a really disappointing sequel to Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. This companion novel has far less adventure in and Lily’s character in The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily is so negative. The constant negativity doesn’t make the book seem Christmassy at all. Review: Another Day by David Levithan

Another Day by David Levithan is such a breathtaking book that everyone should grace their shelves with. It has a bit of an eerie concept, but mixed in with a contemporary, making this book an extremely believable magical realism book! One of my favourite things about this book is how it is told in Rhiannon’s perspective instead of A’s like in book one. This really makes Another Day a thrilling companion to Every Day. Review: All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven is a hard book to review. It definitely took me on a roller coaster ride! I was a bit skeptical when I started reading this book because of all the comparisons to The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. I sometimes caught myself comparing the aforementioned books to All the Bright Places as I was reading. These comparisons are a disservice to the book. It is a riveting story about friendship, mental health, and suicide. Continue reading
