Roshani Chokshi is the New York Times bestselling author of The Star-Touched Queen and A CROWN OF WISHES. Her middle grade debut, ARU SHAH AND THE END OF TIME, released April 3, 2018 from Disney/Rick Riordan Presents. The sequel, ARU SHAH AND THE SONG OF DEATH is slated to release April 30, 2019. A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi is just as incredible as I had anticipated. This companion to The Star-Touched Queen tells the story of a tournament to win a wish and focuses on the sister of the protagonist in the first book. The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi is one of the few books that was able blow my mind and leave me in awe. It is based on Indian mythology, which was new to me, but definitely something that I enjoyed. The main character is brave and intelligent, which I always love to see. Also, the writing is beautiful and filled with vivid descriptions. I would say that this is a must-read. Continue reading
