Kiss Me in Paris by Catherine Rider is a book about travel, so it is no surprise that I enjoyed it so much. This book tells the story of a trip to Paris gone awry and features two main characters with differing personalities. I just wish the book was longer so I could read more about Serena and Jean-Luc!

Book Review: Kiss Me in Paris by Catherine Rider
This book tells the story of a girl who goes on a trip to Paris with her sister in hopes of reenacting her parents’ honeymoon. However, her sister backs out, leaving her alone with a stranger in the city. I enjoyed this concept, and I found the idea of reenacting the honeymoon so sweet. There are also many descriptions of the sights in Paris, which made me want to visit even more. Overall, this is a short and sweet read that will leave the reader dying to travel.
❀ Entertaining Narrations
I enjoyed both Serena and Jean-Luc, and reading both their narrations was entertaining. Serena is so passionate about the trip, and I admired her determination to stick her her schedule for the sake of her family. Jean-Luc is pretty much the opposite of Serena, and he wants her to relax and enjoy her time in Paris without sticking to a strict schedule. They fight a lot at the beginning, which I didn’t love, but as the book progresses, the two start to warm up to each other.

Kiss Me in Paris by Catherine Rider is a sweet story about travel and family. I enjoyed both the main characters and their opposite personalities. I would recommend this to those looking for a quick, wintry read.
