I am always a little bit sad when this challenge ends each year. I really love the freedom of choosing the books that are going to make-up my reading schedule and make a plan from there. It has really taught me that I need to continue reading backlist books more often. I am most thrilled with the fact that I finally completed The Lunar Chronicles because it is one of the most amazing series that I have ever read.
The number of books that I chose to read this year is a bit larger than previous years. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to pull it off. I think that I did a pretty good job this time round, and although I did end up DNFing a couple of books, I added a few extras.
These are the books that I read for the challenge that were planned:
Books that were added after the challenge started:
Books that I ended up not finishing (DNF):
I am still in the middle of reading Crazy Rich Asians, and I hope to have it read before the movie comes out this weekend. All of these titles are on my GR shelf for the challenge if you are interested in learning more.
Thank you so much to everyone that participated in the Summer TBR Wipeout and those of you who popped in to cheer us on! Looking forward to all of those fall books and hopefully some backlist titles can continue to make up the list. Until next summer, friends!
SO MANY AMAZING BOOKS HERE!!! I love The Darkest Minds, I went to see the movie the other day and ended up wanting to read the rest of the books again! Kiss Me in Paris sounds super cute, definitely my kind of read, I will try to read it soon! I have been wanting to read The Lunar Chronicles since forever, I have seen everyone talking about the characters of these books and I’m intrigued!!!! I finished reading Crooked Kingdom last night and OME I LOVE IT! And so when I saw that you read Ruin and Rising and Siege and Storm I fangirled a lot 😀

Great job, especially on finishing the entire Lunar Chronicle series!
Thank you! I am so happy to have finally found some time to read it! 🙂
Good job with the Lunar Chronicles. That was quite an undertaking. I hope you enjoy Crazy Rich Asians. I recently finished the series and I thought it was great.
I am almost finished the first book, but sadly I don’t think that I have time to get to the rest of the series. Hopefully the movie will focus on the first novel. 🙂
