Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
This week’s book: Renegades by Marissa Meyer

Author: Marissa Meyer
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Publication Date: November 7, 2017

Secret Identities. Extraordinary Powers. She wants vengeance. He wants justice.
The Renegades are a syndicate of prodigies — humans with extraordinary abilities — who emerged from the ruins of a crumbled society and established peace and order where chaos reigned. As champions of justice, they remain a symbol of hope and courage to everyone... except the villains they once overthrew.
Nova has a reason to hate the Renegades, and she is on a mission for vengeance. As she gets closer to her target, she meets Adrian, a Renegade boy who believes in justice — and in Nova. But Nova's allegiance is to a villain who has the power to end them both.

Thoughts
Does this book not scream adventure and excitement? I absolutely love Marissa Meyer and if this series is as amazing as The Lunar Chronicles, we are in for an epic ride! I was honestly sold when I read “secret societies.” It will be interesting to see how Nova’s quest for vengeance pays out and whether we have a new swoon-worthy YA character in Adrian.
I already know now that this book needs to be amazing to even equal TLC, haha.
No pressure, Marissa Meyer. No pressure at all.
lol Right?!
I loved The Lunar Chronicles and even though I was a bit disappointed with Heartless, I’m really looking forward to this one – like you said, it sounds really exciting!
I have high hopes! 🙂
I just love reading hero and villain stories! So yes, even if this wasn’t by Marissa Meyer, it’s still going in my tbr! XD

I am so, so eager to get my hands on this one as well! Loved The Lunar Chronicles series and I’m eager to read more from the author 😀
One good thing that we can expect from November, right?!
YES, I can’t wait 😀
I can’t wait to read this book! 🙂
I keep forgetting this book is coming out in November but I am super excited for it! LOL
I have it on my radar and I am not wishing for winter, but this will help to ease the pain! lol
This is a story that I can happily get behind. I can’t wait to read it!
Melissa Meyer is awesome and I love her previous books so I am not sure why I am hesitant about this one. Looking forward to your review before I make up my mind.
I need more Melissa Meyer. It’s been over a year since I read a book from her, I think I’m going through withdrawal 😛
Great choice this week Olivia
I’m really looking forward this one, too.
