Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
This week’s book: Genuine Fraud

Author: E. Lockhart
Publisher: Delacorte Press
Publication Date: September 5, 2017

Imogen is a runaway heiress, an orphan, a cook, and a cheat.
Jule is a fighter, a social chameleon, and an athlete.
An intense friendship. A disappearance. A murder, or maybe two.
A bad romance, or maybe three.
Blunt objects, disguises, blood, and chocolate. The American dream, superheroes, spies, and villains.
A girl who refuses to give people what they want from her.
A girl who refuses to be the person she once was.

Thoughts
I am such a big fan of E. Lockhart and was overjoyed to see that she has another book coming out. I am so interested in the main character’s multiple identities and all the thrilling aspects to the story. If Genuine Fraud is anything like We Were Liars, I am 100% ready to have my mind blown! My only complaint is that I have to wait almost a year to have this book in my hands.
I haven’t heard of this one before but it sounds really good. I hope you enjoy it when it comes out 🙂
This sounds like it could be so confusing, but really good! Nice pick!
It does sort of sound like confusion might play a role in this one, doesn’t it?! 🙂
I’ve seen this book a lot recently, and it sounds super interesting 😀 I can’t wait to hear what you think about it! Wonderful pick 🙂

Here’s My WoW
I have really enjoyed E. Lockhart’s books and I think that you will as well! 🙂
That cover is so eye-catching! And the plot sounds pretty intriguing as well. I haven’t read E. Lockhart yet, but this one sounds like I might have to change that. Great pick!
Check out my Wednesday Post
This book is on my ever-expanding TBR, so I’m glad to find a WoW post that doesn’t add to it. I loved We Were Liars so much, I’ll read anything by E Lockhart! The ending to that book completely destroyed me.
The cover is FANTASTIC! And I am interested in this one for sure!
