Welcome to this week’s edition of Wishlist Wednesday! Today I am featuring Sister of the Bollywood Bride by Nandini Bajpai. I love a great wedding-themed spring contemporary and this book sounds like so much fun!
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about and have yet to read. It is a spin-off of the original meme, Waiting on Wednesday, that was formerly hosted by Breaking the Spine.
This Week’s Book: Sister of the Bollywood Bride

Author: Nandini Bajpai
Publisher: Poppy
Publication Date: May 25, 2021

For fans of Morgan Matson's Save the Date comes a charming novel about one teen's summer tackling disasters including, but not limited to, family, romance, and weather—as she plans her sister's Bollywood-style Indian wedding.
Mini's big sister, Vinnie, is getting married. Their mom passed away seven years ago and between Dad's new start-up and Vinnie's medical residency, there's no one but Mini to plan the wedding. Dad raised her to know more about computers, calculus, and cars than desi weddings but from the moment Mini held the jewelry Mom left them, she wanted her sister to have the wedding Mom would've planned.
Now Mini has only two months to get it done and she's not going to let anything distract her, not even the persistent, mysterious, and smoking-hot Vir Mirchandani. Flower garlands, decorations, music, even a white wedding horse—everything is in place.
That is, until a monster hurricane heads for Boston that could ruin everything. Will Mini come through as sister of the bride and save the day?

Thoughts
I loved Nandini Bajpai’s A Match Made in Mehendi. It has just the right amount of drama mixed with light-hearted moments. The nod to Morgan Matson has me excited, but it sounds a little more like Jenny Han’s To All the Boys to me. I am here for a sweet rom-com about sisters.
I love stories about weddings, and this sounds like it’ll be a good one!
Right?! I have a good feeling about it.
I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as you did the author’s other book 🙂
