I am loving this book so far! I love Norah’s character and really feel bad for her since she goes through so much. Although I do not have the conditions that Norah does, I feel like this book really portrays mental illness and what it feels like in a way that is realistic and comprehendible.
Something about this one caught my eye when I saw it on NetGalley and I knew that I just had to request it. I do not read much historical fiction, but the setting of Paris and the era before the Eiffel Tower was erected has me enamoured. This one is a bit slower paced, but very beautifully written.
I recently started this one and am loving all the action. The author really jumps into the story and although I am still getting used to the concept, I can tell that this is going to be a great read.
I am LOVING this book so far! Of course, it’s Lauren Oliver, so I expect nothing less. It is so interesting how the book is split into two different stories. I am so excited to keep reading and discover these earth-shattering secrets!
I was first introduced to this book here on Teaser Tuesday with Through Raspberry Colored Glasses and I was immediately hooked! I requested the book right away and had a very hard time setting it down. The Couple Next Door is truly a fast-paced mystery that will keep you guessing right until the end.
