I will be going to my sister and her partners home for Christmas Eve.
Christmas day will be quiet for me & that’s OK.

  2. chelsea w says:

We are going to have a small gathering with my immediate family, which is beyond different since we usually have a huge get-together and huge feast at my grandmother’s. It will be different and a bit sad to be honest.

  3. Cathy French says:

We are keeping it simple this year. No decorations and my boyfriend and I will exchange gifts with each other but no other gift giving will be done this year.

Due to COVID we will be staying home and having a very quite Christmas. My mother in law lives with us so it will be her and my husband (and me. It will be different, but still magical.

It will be very simple, subdued–as none of my kids or grandkids get to come. It will be difficult for me, but I’m trying hard to keep my spirits up.

The holidays will be just my mom, hubby, and me. Our kiddo will be home for a few days in between Christmas and New Years.

My FIL passed away unexpectedly last week so this Christmas has kind of been put on the back burner. We still plan on Santa leaving gifts for the kids but beyond that it just doesn’t feel like a very happy holiday this year.

    • Stacey McCrary says:

We won’t be doing Christmas this year. Sad to say but it’s true. With a few family members in hospital or sick it’s a nope. Money is very tight.

  10. Mary Gardner says:

This year we will have dinner and exchange gifts with just our immediate family living in the same house. It will be different and much quieter, but we will enjoy our time together and be happy that we are staying healthy and keeping our family members safe as well.

Instead of our usual family gathering, I will just take dinner over to my dad and deliver gifts to others without visiting.

  12. Cindy Merrill says:

Very quietly. I have been ordering special gifts over the internet instead of shopping at local stores. We’re just having roast chicken for Christmas, but I plan on plum pudding for dessert.

We are doing the same thing we always do..celebrating at home with just us and Brandon’s mom! Happy holidays everyone!

We stopped by at each of our 2 kids houses and just dropped of their gifts. A total different time this year. Next year I hope we are back to normal

We kept our Christmas festivities short and sweet this year! It was a more low key affair with an online gathering rather than an in-person one.

Sadly, I am under quarantine as I was exposed to COVID via a sick co-worker and will be spending the holidays ALONE and feeling crappy 🙁

  18. Soozle says:

We’re on a strict lock down; so the holidays really didn’t feel like the holidays – one dinner with immediate family and thats all.
