Review: Rules of the Road by Ciara Geraghty

Rules of the Road by Ciara Geraghty is a touching story about friendship, family, and finding yourself. There is a mix of heavy and lighthearted topics that reflect the rollercoaster of emotions that Terry goes through in this road trip book. It is one that I highly recommend to fans of contemporary fiction.

Review: Open Road Summer by Emery Lord

I was very excited to finally pick up Open Road Summer by Emery Lord, since it features two of my favourite things to read about: music and road trips. This book is about two best friends on tour and stars a main character who is likeable and learns from her mistakes. The strong female friendship really sold this one for me. I regret waiting so long to read this book!

Book Review: Summer Hours by Amy Mason Doan

Summer Hours by Amy Mason Doan is an interesting coming of age story set int the 1990s and 2008. The characters are so dynamic and the main character, Becc, is one that is easy to relate to, although her choices make things hard for her. The setting and the summer road trip make this a perfect book for a summer TBR.

Review: Love Songs & Other Lies

Love Songs & Other Lies by Jessica Pennington is a whirlwind of a story that combines drama and music in a unique reality show concept. The characters are super relatable and the use of dual timelines and multiple points of view give lots of dimension to the plot.
