Review: Snow in Love by Melissa de la Cruz

Snow in Love was just what I was looking for to cozy up with as the weather is getting colder. It features stories from four authors who I love that each revolve around the holidays. I found the anthology to have a very good mix of stories with plenty of diversity. I actually enjoyed all the stories, which is very rare for me. Ultimately, I loved the warm and fuzzy feelings that I got while reading.

❀ Nic Stone’s Grounded is a Favourite

Of all the stories, my favourite had to be Nic Stone’s Grounded. It tells the story of a scavenger hunt in the airport and contains some multimedia aspects. What I especially enjoyed is the fact that story has both its adorable moments and its serious messages. I was impressed at its ability to discuss issues like racism in a sensitive manner, while still remaining festive. Honestly, I’ll read anything set in an airport and anything to do with the holidays, so this book was a real win for me.

❀ Short and Sweet

Snow in Love by Melissa de la Cruz is a festive anthology with four adorable short stories. I enjoyed all the stories, but my favourite had to be Nic Stone’s contribution. If you are looking for something short and sweet to get you into the holiday spirit, I would definitely recommend this one.
