Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by The Purple Booker. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Today’s Teaser Tuesday:

28101540.jpgSummary (from Goodreads): Norah has agoraphobia and OCD. When groceries are left on the porch, she can’t step out to get them. Struggling to snag the bags with a stick, she meets Luke. He’s sweet and funny, and he just caught her fishing for groceries. Because of course he did.

Norah can’t leave the house, but can she let someone in? As their friendship grows deeper, Norah realizes Luke deserves a normal girl. One who can lie on the front lawn and look up at the stars. One who isn’t so screwed up.

I am loving this book so far! I love Norah’s character and really feel bad for her since she goes through so much. Although I do not have the conditions that Norah does, I feel like this book really portrays mental illness and what it feels like in a way that is realistic and comprehendible.

Here is the teaser:

“I don’t like this feeling of always messing up. I don’t like that scrutinizing has tripled in productivity since he moved in. I know it’s me, my issue, my problem, which is why I decide I’m going to avoid him from here on out.

I LOVE the idea behind this one so much. I can’t wait to get to know these characters, and find out what happens with them and their friendship/romance! And the cover is beautiful!
