Something in Between by Melissa de la Cruz looks like such an interesting read. I am intrigued by the fact that the main character is Filipino, as this isn’t too common in YA. What really excites me is how Harlequin and Seventeen are creating an imprint together. Admittedly, I have yet to read anything by Melissa de la Cruz, so this book will be an entirely new experience for me!

I don’t think this is one that I would normally pick up. I might pick it up one day, but I am not in a hurry.
Filipino characters definitely don’t show up often in YA books–especially not as main characters. I haven’t heard of this book before, so thank you for bringing it to my attention ^_^
