Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Books and a Beat. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Today’s Teaser Tuesday:

Book cover for Flawed by Cecelia Ahern
Summary (from Goodreads):
Celestine North lives a perfect life. She’s a model daughter and sister, she’s well-liked by her classmates and teachers, and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan.

But then Celestine encounters a situation where she makes an instinctive decision. She breaks a rule. And now faces life-changing repercussions.

She could be imprisoned. She could be branded. She could be found FLAWED.

In her breathtaking young adult debut, bestselling author Cecelia Ahern depicts a society where obedience is paramount and rebellion is punished. And where one young woman decides to take a stand that could cost her-everything.

I have yet to start this one, but I am extremely excited for it! It’s been a while since I’ve read a dystopian, and getting back into the genre will be interesting for me. Today, I will be sharing the first lines of Flawed.

Here is the teaser:

“I am a girl of definitions, of logic, of black and white. Remember this.”

Love that teaser. I’ve had Flawed lined up as my next read for a while but keep bumping it back for some reason. Think I’m scared I won’t like it because I love Cecelia Aherne 🙂
