Making Waves is a weekly question feature created by the Waterwitch Babes (part of Susan Dennard’s Truthwitch Street Team).  Every Thursday, we’ll have a fun question that all are welcome to answer on their blog.  Anyone can join! The questions will be random and/or relate to the upcoming book Truthwitch by Susan Dennard.  A linky is provided so that everyone can link up their post and participate in the fun!

To participate, we do ask that you use the Making Waves banner in your post and link back to the Waterwitch Babes blog.

This week’s question:

What video games do you like to play?

You may be wondering how video games fit into the concept of Truthwitch. As many of us know, the creator of The Witchlands is quite the gamer girl. Also, recently over a Twitter conversation, Susan Dennard mentioned that the world she created for Truthwitch is built the way a gamer would. How cool is that?

While I do not game often, I live in a house that contains an Xbox, 2 Wiis, and a Playstation. There are many options to choose from and when I dabble in the odd gaming experience, I tend to veer towards my beloved Nintendo games, such as Mario Kart 8 and Just Dance. Not very exciting, I know.

What video games do you enjoy?

Next week’s question:

Have you visited thewitchlands.com? (There is an amazing preorder incentive for Truthwitch right now on the site!) What are your impressions of the new website?

Gaming can totally be related to books because sometimes a book inspires a video game and the world building can be done in the same way! Not to mention, they’re so much fun! :p
I haven’t played Mario Kart in some time, but it was always fun to play. As far as Mario-style video games I really enjoyed Super Smash Bros (even though I was SOOOO bad at it. :p)

When it comes to racing games though, I prefer Burnout. (I’m kind of aggressive so crashing other cars is fun. Heh.) Though, I’ve also been practicing Halo lately! I still spin in circles occasionally, but I’m getting better. Haha!
