This Week’s question: Which clan do you feel you belong to?
While this question is one that asks participants to choose a clan, it is a choice that is more fun than one to use to pick a “side.” As many of us have observed over the past few weeks, the different clans are working together to promote a common interest, Susan Dennard’s Truthwitch series. Although I haven’t had the pleasure of reading Truthwitch, I can understand through the synopsis that it is a book about friendship. This is a theme that I believe Susan hopes will carry into the street team.
The Waterwitch Babes are a special clan to me. Not only are we a team working towards a goal, we are most importantly becoming fast friends. For example, this past weekend when the Super Blood Moon was in the sky, we all took to our group chat and shared our experiences seeing this spectacular event from the various countries that we live in. I have really appreciated getting to know about so many of my fellow Waterwitch Babes, as this is a group of girls that is so warm, inviting and friendly. I want to thank Nicola, Jaida and Sooz for setting up this incredible once in a lifetime experience. This has really been one that will stick with me forever. I can only hope that members of other clans are enjoying similar experiences to ours, as they are truly special.
This past week, The Waterwitch Babes released an unofficial Truthwitch Clan Sorting Quiz. This quiz is a really fun way to find out where your personality lies in relation to Susan Dennard‘s upcoming Truthwitch series. The quiz can be found on the Waterwitch Babes Tumblr page if you are interested in learning more or taking this quiz yourself!
My results were actually quite shocking! According to the quiz, my elemental clan is Fire! Now, this isn’t all bad. I recently found out that I am a rare breed and that the queen herself, Sarah J. Maas is also a fiery witch. This element is one for those who are inspiring, intuitive and enthusiastic. People of this type seem quite unique and full of life. I am thrilled, but I don’t really see myself this way and I actually think that I am more like a Waterwitch in many ways.
First of all, my birth sign is Cancer, which is one of the zodiac signs for the water element. Also, my favourite colour is purple and I cannot get enough autumn into my life! If this isn’t convincing enough, I am a fish in the water and I dream of living by the sea. While those who relate to the element of fire are intuitive, so are the water people, making this a clan that I can click with. I am also quite an empathetic and caring person. I truly hope that my argument sticks and my fellow Waterwitch Babes see the water flowing through my veins!
What element do you relate to the most? How have your experiences within the various clans shaped you?
Next week’s question:
What are your favorite books that feature one of the elements on its cover or title?
