Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between

❀ Realistic Story

This is a very realistic book. It tells the story of Clare and Aidan, who are heading to two different colleges and must decide if they want to break up or stay together. In most books, the characters have no worries about their future together, which is actually nothing like real life. In this book, Jennifer E. Smith addresses the fact that there are many difficult decisions in life, like college, and that sometimes the right decision is the hard one.

❀ Perfect Beach Read

The plot in the book is very laid back, which makes it such a perfect beach read. There is enough drama to keep the contemporary reader interested and just the right amount of romance. Quite simply, Jennifer E. Smith has created a light read that will appeal to many fans of the contemporary genre. It is the perfect book to cure you from a reading slump.

❀ Relatable Main Character

Clare, the main character in the story is very relatable and is the perfect personality for Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between. She is a very logical person, but also knows how to have a good time. She understands that a long-distance relationship is bound to be doomed, and sets up a fun idea for Aidan so they can remember all the good times that they had together and decide if they want to stay together or break up. I loved this because it really makes the story unique and shows readers that sometimes goodbye is for the best.

❀ Truthful and Relaxed

Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between by Jennifer E. Smith is a very truthful and relaxed  book with an intelligent main character who is full of good ideas. This is a very quick read that is perfect to get you out of a reading slump. I definitely recommend this one to those looking for a sweet beach read.

So glad to know you liked this book! Even if I have not read it yet, the story seems unique and realistic to me as well. I enjoyed the author’s other books so I’m really looking forward to this! I definitely need this book asap since summer is slipping away from me as well, haha 🙂

I like this one being a bit more mature when it comes to facing a real life problem. A lot of couples do face this problem as well so it is very realistic to write about this one. I am curious to see how the characters end up handle this or not. Thanks for the review x
